Just because I don’t talk about it, doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about it.

Sometimes i catch myself actually looking for reasons to be mad, when all it is is just anger from the past slowly creeping to catch up with me.

It’s not going to be easy. I still carry the same feelings of that night with me everyday. I haven’t forgave yet. And I’m never going to forget. But things have a chance to get better, and I’m going to hold onto that little bit of hope. Because in all actuality, there’s not a lot more to hold onto… I can’t expect a superhero, but I know where my expectations lay now - somewhere along the lines of being a bit more rational than before tonight. And I won’t let my pride get the best of me. Because if I do, that will be the end of it without a doubt. I just hope that this huge weight will eventually be lifted off of my chest, and that I can eventually look forward more than I look back.

Its crazy how everything you thought you had known can get turned upside down within a matter of minutes.
